Frequently Asked Questions

How big are the individual halves of the dual king bed? It’s a king-size mattress (76” x 80”), but made up of two twin XL mattresses (38” x 80”) set side by side. California King lengths are also available.

Does having the mattress split help isolate movement from restless partners? A split king means that you and your partner have your own mattress, preventing you from feeling their movement on the other side of the bed. One person could sleep with their head slightly elevated, and the other could lay flat. Even the design of the mattresses can be different! One half could be our Hi Lo mattress and the other could be our Premier.

Is it easier to move a split king bed than it is to move a regular king bed? A split king mattress is much more manageable since it’s two separate twin XL mattresses. Just remove the two mattresses and disassemble the one frame and you are good to move!

What products offer split king adjustable bed sizes? Our Hi Lo, Value and Premier products come in dual king bed sizing.

Do you need special sheets for a split king bed? The two separate mattresses that make up the one bed will each need their own fitted bed sheet. On top of the fitted sheets, you can then layer on a single king top sheet along with a single quilt and duvet.

What size headboard do you need with a split king?

All you need is a king-size headboard and the right headboard brackets to connect it to your adjustable bed.
